1. Acceptance
By using taskZEN you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Service description
taskZEN is a web application for 1:1 customer-executor collaboration: tasks, chat, files and calendar in one place. The service runs in closed beta until the paid launch (target: Q3 2026).
3. Account
You need an e-mail to use the service. You are responsible for keeping access to your e-mail and for actions taken under your account. One e-mail = one account.
4. Pair model
When you create a pair with another user, you acknowledge that all your content within that pair (tasks, messages, attachments) is accessible to your pair partner for the entire duration of the pair. The customer may cancel the pair at any time; once cancelled, the executor loses access to that pair's data while the customer retains an archive (see Privacy Policy).
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- violate the laws of Latvia or the European Union;
- upload malware, spam, or content infringing third-party rights;
- attempt unauthorised access to other accounts;
- use the service for automated harvesting of third-party data;
- create multiple accounts to bypass limits.
6. Subscription & payment
During beta the service is free. Before the paid launch we will notify you in advance and present subscription terms. Existing beta users will receive special pricing (see the public pricing page at the time of launch).
7. Beta status
The service is under active development. Features may change, be added or removed without prior notice. We aim for data integrity but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.
8. Your content
You retain all rights to your content (tasks, messages, attachments). By uploading content you grant taskZEN a limited license to store, display and process it — solely to deliver the service to you and your pair partner.
9. Liability disclaimer
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost profits, data loss, or indirect damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including EU consumer rights).
10. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account for breach of these Terms, with e-mail notice.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. Disputes are resolved by the courts of Latvia. Consumers in the European Union may also bring proceedings in the courts of their country of residence, in accordance with applicable EU law.
12. Changes
Material changes will be announced by e-mail at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
